Professor Gabriela Topa holds the position of Full Professor in the Department of Social and Organizational Psychology at Spain's largest public university specializing in distance learning. She earned her Master's Degree in Education Sciences in 1999, followed by a Master's Degree in Psychology in 2001, and concluded her academic training with a Ph.D. in Social Psychology in 2004. Gabriela has established robust collaborative relationships with international research groups, partnering with esteemed colleagues from the Universities of Bologna, Florence, and Leipzig, as well as institutions in New Zealand and Latin America.

Her research agenda encompasses multiple domains, including the study of identity, diversity, and sustainable well-being within groups and organizations. She also investigates the health-related outcomes of stress and sexual harassment in workplace settings. Gabriela's scholarly contributions to the field are extensive, encompassing topics such as the psychological contract, sustainable development, and their impact on work-related outcomes. Her publications range from survey-based studies to systematic reviews and meta-analyses, particularly focusing on financial retirement planning and late-career preparation.
